Every day tragedies occur all around the world. People die without ever knowing the love and hope of Jesus. There is so much sadness and darkness in this world that sometimes it seems like things will never get better. But there is hope. Jesus is still alive and He is still working in the lives of people every day. There is a movement rising up amongst believers that challenges our culture and dares to be different in a society that rejects righteousness. This is not a religious movement, nor is it a church movement. This is a Jesus movement and it is changing people’s lives all over the world. Lives are being radically transformed, addictions are breaking, families are being restored, and sickness is leaving.
In 2011 Isaiah Saldivar had grown up in church but continued wanting nothing to do with God or His perfect will. Pursuing a degree in law enforcement and committed to achieving material success, image and prestige became his sole priority. Although, the problem with things and temporary pleasure is it all turns out to be utterly unsatisfying and fleeting. Desiring real purpose and lasting love, Isaiah ended up depressed with more questions than answers. After not going to church for several years, out of obligation Isaiah attended a church service in Modesto, Ca. on January 12, 2011. However, he had no idea that when he sat in what seemed like “just another church pew,” his life was about to change forever.
